Sorry, I haven't made that clear but that's what I meant by popunder. I assumed by simple redirect you meant the site just redirects to the ad and now only the ad is open.

Have you tried Fanboy’s Annoyance List‎? That should take care of it. Since it's a self-promotion it probably won't be added to EasyList.

Using the filter /cleardot.gif also results in some Google products throwing an error that no connection could be established. Google Docs was one case I think. Maybe it's used by Google to test if the connection dropped.

When using EasyList + Annoyance List the filter @@||cdnjs.cloudflare.com^$script,third-party in EasyList seems to be causing an issue here. It whitelists a script that would usually be blocked by Annoyance List.
