Those are to generic and will cause many false positives. Many content managing systems (CMS) use banner(s) to displays the graphics at the top of websites that include important links in the site and are not ads.

For a second I thought you was a spammer.. I hate those things and I too would like to see them blocked. If not in easylist please give us a filter we can use ourselves. Thanks!

Odd, it's working fine here. Played videos and everything just fine. I did see said filter in use but didn't stop the page from working correctly.

At the top there is left over area that looks bad. I used EHH and it came up with nfl.com##DIV#banner-ads but you can probably do better. Just wanted to bring it to your attention. Now I don't explore very deep in the site so I don't know of FP's this may have.

Sounds like you don't have Adblock Plus installed. Which is required for Easylist to work.

You got any other filters affecting this, because the site is working fine for me. I use Easylist and ABP tracking filters. Might ask at ABP forums. I've never used (therefor paid much attention too) SeaMonkey, so I'm not familiar with bugs and such.

ant, can you test in Firefox just to see if it might be just a SeaMonkey issue. Or have you already? I looked back through this thread but I might have missed it.

Again it works fine here. I wonder if after so many it sets a cookie to send an ad that then kicks in this problem.

Works fine for me. But I'm using the nightly builds, I don't know if that makes a difference or not. It shouldn't though if it's the fault of the filterset(s) should it?

my.ebay.com#DIV(id=rtm_div_562) is what EHH came up with for me. It's an area just inside the area that is suggested up above, I think. More targeted maybe? I know next to nothing about making filters except a few of my own that I don't have to worry about FP's with.

It seems to work here just fine. I'd say you got a personal filter or some other filterset that is blocking stuff there, not EasyList. I use also privacy list.

I can't really help you myself, but I think some sites (as examples) would help get you some answers, much faster.
