Re: forbes.com

I decided to disable adp. For some reason it was no longer working. I have a whole string of custom filters and unsure if something broke it. Anyways I enabled regular adblock and entered the filters above. That works. Maybe the problem was something I was doing with ADP. This is the list I have on ...

Video ads re appeared on Huffington post

Here's a screenshot. I want to know why this ad is breaking through my adblock.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v73/Butterflyhornet/Screen%20shot%202017-02-07%20at%207.29.30%20AM_zpsreqdhkyl.png

It plays this before the video plays.

Re: Forbes.com

Okay it seems to work now. Maybe it is a delayed effect, but it is slow. It will load the redirect, show the you must disable adblock for about 5 seconds, then it will refresh and I can see the pages. Time for me to sign off and go to bed now.

Re: Forbes.com

Yep, tried the filters. Looks like they have done an update to "fix" the filters to protect their ads. I made sure to paste each row separately into the add filter section. (I found copying and pasting the whole block a mistake.) For older articles I found webarchive as a means to access t...

I can't post here as guest. The captcha is broken. Re: wired.com is going to block ABP users

Okay I tried adding each of the filters in separately. Different splash screen, but still same effect.

"Thank You
All of us at WIRED appreciate your support!"

Clicking on the button seems to have stopped it for now? I hope they aren't going to start charging me somehow.

Disabled all but adblock plus. Worked until I hit the mouse scrollbar to read down the page. As soon as the mouse scrolls, it activates the splash screen.

Disabled Adblock. Kept adblock Plus and still having the issue. Seems stopping the page from loading fully is the only way, but I don't know if it will always buy me enough time to finish reading the article. Re: Facebook.com Sponsored ads posts

I came late to to this discussion. I saw the ads and thought they were blocked already, bummed to see they still aren't blockable. How is Facebook being able to able to make unblockable ads?

Chrome would not let me install the greasemonkey extensions either.

Thanks. Tried it but still didn't help. Tried the filter in the link and the filter posted below. I made the mistake of trying to block the image file and now am stuck with a blank white page. Audio plays on the page but no video or graphics. Just all white. Perhaps they added something new? Whateve...

My bad. It looks like the filter might have fixed the right side ad but not the top banner ad.

livescience.com

No adblocker seems to be able to block the vacuum ads from Amazon on this site.
Here's an example page.

Code: Select all
