I wasn't sure this was about the notice at the top, now I see it is.
Should this really be blocked? It's not the site asking users to turn off their blocker, it's the site trying to fund itself using other means than ads, using a small, polite notice at the top.

That should not be added. It's not an ad, and if the point of blocking ads is to encourage other means of funding, such polite notice seeking other means of funding should not be blocked. It can be easily dismissed also, it's entirely reasonable.WarFame wrote:This hasn't been added yet?

There was one reported mid-january and it has been fixed and I haven't heard of it since then. uBO uses a custom script to disable the ads.
