As far is I understand, Weave doesn't go through the content policies - so there's no way ABP can interfere.

Re: [Stats] Subscription Filter Stats
According to my number crunching script, my subscription surpassed half a million subscribers in June. Wow. :surprised: The growth in download numbers has been pretty much linear for the last 18 months. The GNUplot fit tells me the numbers increase by about 220000 downloads per month - or about 2500...

I don't think if I said Gecko only the OP would know what I meant. ;-) Very probably not :) But as a SeaMonkey user myself, I tend to jump on occasions like that as a defender of the weak. 8) I'm regularly annoyed by clueless website authors sniffing for Firefox versions instead of Gecko, and sendi...

Absolutely not. ABP is one of the most Gecko-friendly extensions there are (thanks Wladimir!) andLanik wrote:FireFox only, sorry.
works in SeaMonkey, Songbird, Flock, Thunderbird as well... there even is a K-Meleon version.
Internet Explorer is not a Gecko application though, so it won't work there.

3) They would have to get in touch here to complain and ask to be released from the EasyList (3 million subscribers is going to bother them). The problem is: It won't. Re: How to shoot yourself in the foot, Creative Labs-style
Creative makes really good hardware. But for some reason I don't understand,
they don't seem to get that drivers are equally important. And as driver suckage
still goes on over half a decade after the release of windows XP, I stopped
recommending their stuff. It's a real pity.

Re: Whitelisting rules now apply to element hiding rules as well
So Lanik ... you are using 3.0b5pre and have no trouble getting element-hiding rules to whitelist with a site-exception rule. It works here fine on 2.0.0.12 Hmmm .... I wonder what Wladimir means here? http://adblockplus.org/development-builds/more-firefox-3-fixes The problem is that the element wh...

Whitelisting rules now apply to element hiding rules as well
Boyohboyohboyohboy, Wladimir hid it in a mere changelog: As of the newest dev build, Whitelisting rules now apply to element hiding rules as well . This is huge news and will get rid of lots and lots of support issues. It works like charm. Yay! The whitelisting of course has to be a "site white...

Re: Blu-ray DVD format wins!
I expect this to change significantly over a rather short time. Around here, movies on HD DVD and BD are already sold at the same price, regardless of the medium. And as far as I understand, the PS3 sucked up a lot of the - still rather low - worldwide production capacity for BD drives. This will im...

Last I read, Toshiba deny everything though  . But it indeed looks very much like BluRay has won. I'm very glad about this, it seems to be the only format (amongst the two) specifying data storage capabilities as well, and I would be very happy to replace my DVD-RAMs with something as reliable...

It's nice to see at least one round based sport to be followed by so many.
